Gamut Theatre has been producing professional theater in downtown Harrisburg since 1985. The Shakespeare Festival alone has introduced thousands of students to live performance. But Gamut is more than a theater company — it is an argument that a mid-sized city deserves professional arts, and that argument has been made convincingly for four decades.
